Jinger Vuolo mentions Jill Dillard’s involvement in the series.

In a new interview with People MagazineJinger Vuolo detailed her reasoning for not appearing in Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets. Then, she seemingly shaded Jill’s involvement. Jinger wrote a book called Becoming Free Indeed, which details her leaving the IBLP. She felt that this was a better choice for her, but it’s possible she threw shade at her sister while explaining her thought process.

She told People Magazine:

“I was actually approached and asked to participate in the docuseries, but I thought that from my perspective, I really wanted to make sure that I was able to share my story in my own words and in my own timing. So that’s why I wrote Becoming Free Indeed, was to share more of my journey out of IBLP’s teachings. I wanted to be able to share it in a way that was, like, God-honoring and hopefully sharing my story in a balanced way.”

Are the Duggar sisters throwing shade at each other?

On InstagramKatie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball posted about Jinger Vuolo’s statement about Jill Dillard. One fan commented, “That seems like a dig to Jill.” In response, Katie Joy seemed to agree and said, “Kinda.”

Then, another fan chimed in, “They [Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo] are Jealous bc JILL truly has made her own family and life on her own terms.”

“So she thinks she’s more ‘God-honoring’ than Jill,” said another Instagram user. Of course, it’s unclear what Jinger’s true intentions were. Some fans are certainly questioning her statement though.
