Ariana Madix & Katie Maloney Picture Of New Storefront Revealed

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney finally have photos of their sandwich shop, Something About Her. The Vanderpump Rules co-stars and friends came up with the concept in Season 9. It continued to evolve through Season 10 when they started scouting locations. Now, it is almost here and there is photographic evidence to go along with the excitement. It has been a long and interesting journey for Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney. They have struggled to build a friendship but came together and developed a sandwich shop. This all spawned out of an idea Maloney had when she was married to Tom Schwartz. She really wanted them to have this shop together at some point. However, he was so invested in his restaurant lounges that it could never happen. That was when Ariana said she would do it and they never looked back. Fortunately, Lisa Vanderpump helped them get their location.

In the Season 10 finale, the girls did a preview for their friends and family to try the sandwiches. They loved them and with ‘Scandoval,’ fans were even more eager to get into Something About Her. Fans would go by and say that they saw little to no progress. Ariana Madix just gave an update about it and said it should be open in the near future. Now, according to The Sun, there is much more to be seen for the all-inclusive shop not just for sandwiches.

The black sign has been hung with the name of the shop in white along with white and yellow “bunting” to accent the crisp white feel. There are still boxes in some photos showing that they are a work in progress. However, Ariana Madix did note that she and Katie are finalizing the details and such. It does not look ready to open but it is a far cry from the empty space fans saw after their soft launch for friends. For viewers who want the full show experience, they can stop at Something About Her and then walk a few paces to TomTom.

Too Close For Comfort?

Initially, Something About Her was in a great filming location. It was right near TomTom which is co-owned by LVP and cast members Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. However, after Season 10, it is no longer ideal. Ariana Madix was in a nine-year relationship with Sandoval until he cheated on her with her best friend, Raquel Leviss. Katie Maloney, for her part, was married to Schwartz but they have since divorced and do not have much of a relationship after the affair drama. LVP’s other restaurant, PUMP, might have been a good buffer but it is closing its doors in July.
