As TV Shows Ace reported, Chad and Erin recently shared a huge announcement with fans. The couple is growing their family once again. Their sixth baby is on the way and will join five older siblings, Carson, Brooklyn, Everly, Holland, and Finley.
At this point, Chad and Erin haven’t shared the baby’s gender or due date. But more updates are likely coming soon, so stay tuned. While the Bates-Paine family is thrilled about this news, and many fans are too, plenty of others are showing concern for the soon-to-be mom of six.
Fans express major concern for her health
On Instagram on the Duggar Bates Confessions page, a fan submitted a new confession about Erin Bates Paine. They mentioned that she only has part of one ovary left. In the comments, other fans talked about her previous health challenges and wondered if it was safe for her to be pregnant again.

As TV Shows Ace reported, a couple of years ago, Erin let fans know that she had had surgery to remove one and two-thirds of her ovaries as a result of her health issues. After that surgery, she and her husband, Chad, weren’t sure if they would be able to conceive again. Despite this, she has been able to become pregnant two more times. The couple believes it’s a “miracle” that she has gotten pregnant after her surgery.
In the comments section of the Instagram post, one fan said, “Nothing like putting a woman’s life at risk….. 🤦🏻♀️” Another added, “I’m very surprised Erin would even think of having another baby considering her health issues and already having five perfectly beautiful children!”
Hopefully, everything goes smoothly with Erin’s pregnancy and the baby arrives safely in a few months.
