‘Below Deck’ Spoiler: Is Courtney Veale Returning?
Courtney Veale is teasing her return to Below Deck. She made a return to the previous season of Below Deck Mediterranean with Captain Sandy Yawn. However, is she going to appear in the original series? Keep on reading to learn more.
Courtney Veale talks about Below Deck return
In a new interview with the Daily Star, Courtney Veale teased a return to Below Deck. She became a fan-favorite in the previous seasons of Below Deck Med. The yachtie launched an OnlyFans page after her time in the industry. She was asked whether she would return to the Bravo series.
“I definitely hope so! I told them I wanted to go back,” Courtney Veale told the Daily Star. “I think the issue is, I don’t want to be a boson or a stew or anything if I go back. I’ll only be going back as a deckhand or a stewardess.”
Courtney wouldn’t mind being the “backup person” in case someone gets fired or quits. As Below Deck fans already know, that’s common in the reality series. Not a season goes by when there’s a casting shakeup. Courtney also revealed that she’s still “quite close with one of the producers.”
Courtney hopes that the producer will invite her back onto the show. In the past, returning to the show is one way for a former yachtie to redeem themselves. It works for those who had a bad run during their first season. It worked well for Eddie Lucas and Chef Rachel Hargrove.
There are also moments when a fan favorite is so popular that they bring them back repeatedly. This has been the case with Captain Glenn Shephard’s dream team on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. He’s made it clear that he loves working with Colin McRae, Daisy Kelliher, and Gary King.
Shares secrets about the Bravo series
During her interview, Courtney Veale also shared some of her secrets from the Bravo series. The producers cut some of her conversations with her fellow crew members from the previous season. Courtney wishes that fans could see a different side to herself. Normally, they see her drunk and flirtatious self who likes to flirt with guys.
“There are definitely some conversations that don’t make the cut, but they’re more like funny ones,” Courtney Veale admitted. “That stuff never really makes it, when we’re laughing at each other.”
The producers like to catch the drama that takes place on the show. What are your thoughts on Courtney Veale returning to Below Deck? Would you like to see her on the Med or on the original series? Sound off below in the comment section.
