Fans Furious, Blantant Disrespect For Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell?
Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and her family has been showing their support for her. She has been receiving chemo treatments and the doctors are keeping a very close eye on her. Chickadee has two children and has been struggling to stay afloat with everything that has happened. However, there are some fans that have seen other members of her family asking for money. Are they being blatantly disrespectful?
Anna Cardwell’s Update
As Anna has started to get through her chemo treatments, she has been very open about how she is feeling. She has already started to lose her hair after the first round of chemo. However, this cancer has spread to her liver, kidney, and lungs so it was important for her to move quickly with these chemo treatments. Anna Cardwell has gotten pretty upset about losing her hair, but she isn’t going to let that be the only thing she is concerned with.
As she is getting these treatments, she has told her fans that her focus is to fight the cancer. In fact, she has changed her diet, which is now less sugar and more protein. She explained that she hasn’t been able to eat much or get a lot of sleep.
Anna Cardwell distanced herself from her family after Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled. It came out that she was sexually abused by one of her mother’s exes. Things have been tense between her and her family for years, but now that she is going through this, they have stepped up and shown their support. However, a lot of this so-called support has been directed in the wrong way.
Chickadee’s Family
As soon as the news hit that Chickadee has cancer, her family quickly approached their fans. Fans feel that Anna’s sister, Alana Thompson, is using her diagnosis to scold her fans. In fact, Alana clapped back at trolls who confronted her on TikTok. She used her sister’s condition to talk down to these fans. This wasn’t exactly what they were expecting.
Not only did Alana show this side of herself on TikTok, but now it looks like she and her mother, June Shannon are begging for money. More so, fans took to Reddit to show how horrible they think Anna Cardwell’s family is acting right now.
These Redditors feel as if Anna should be the only one asking for money and not June and Alana. One wrote, “It’s funny how they have money for tattoos, piercings, and getting their nails and hair done all the time yet beg for necessities. NO SHAME!” Another added, “Anna is very humble she may be dysfunctional but I like seeing people give her gifts due to her cancer. Anna’s followers on TikTok also bought a lot of stuff on her wishlist. She was joking around on live yesterday it was good to see her having a little bit of fun. The rest can kick rocks.”
