Restraining order dismissed

Scheana was the only one who appeared at the court hearing on Wednesday, March 29. Raquel Leviss was a no-show but dropped the temporary restraining order. Earlier this month, she obtained court-order protection. Raquel alleged that Scheana punched her in the face and gave her a black eye.

The two got into an altercation after filming Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Scheana learned about Raquel’s affair with fellow cast member Tom Sandoval. Raquel decided to drop the case and didn’t show up to court. Scheana and her lawyer, Neama Rahmani, said they were prepared to defend themselves in court on Wednesday.

The judge dismissed the temporary restraining order instead of extending it. This isn’t over for Scheana and her lawyer. Neama maintained the claims that Scheana never punched or injured Raquel. Yet, she feels “vindicated” by what happened. Scheana may still pursue legal action against Raquel.

Shortly after Wednesday’s hearing, Scheana’s lawyer shared more details. He claims that Scheana “pushed” Raquel Leviss after she “grabbed her wrist.” This could change the trajectory of the case. In fact, Scheana may pursue legal action against the former beauty queen.

“Scheana did push Raquel, but it was after Raquel grabbed her wrist. It was a reasonable force,” Neama told Us Weekly. “It was necessary. I mean, look, Scheana is at best, maybe 5’5, and Raquel, 5’10, she’s wearing heels. For Raquel to argue that Scheana could even punch her in the eye or cut her eyebrow, I mean, that’s just absolute inconsistent with the height differential and the size differential of these two women.”

Neama explained that Scheana pushed Raquel, but didn’t cause any injuries to her head. He called Raquel’s claims of a “brain injury” to be “a gross abuse of our system of justice.” As a result, Scheana could pursue legal action against Raquel for defamation since she filed a false police report. However, Scheana “doesn’t want anything to do with” Raquel.

Scheana Shay speaks out

Following the hearing on Wednesday, Scheana and her lawyer were the only ones who spoke to the media. The “Good As Gold” singer shaded Raquel Leviss. She argued that she had to show up to defend herself.  Scheana claims that the restraining order was “all a PR stunt from the beginning to deflect from the affair.”
