What Is Lifetime’s Circle Of Deception About?
According to the Lifetime synopsis, Russel Douglas (McGillion) is a businessman in a small, island community. He was found dead, right after Christmas. Moreover, Russel was married, but soon-to-be-divorced, to Brenna Douglas (Morrison).
Meanwhile, Brenna Douglas had long confessed to her former beauty queen best pal, Peggy Sue Thomas (Neal) that Russel was abusive to her. Brenna shared stories of both physical and mental abuse.
The investigation went through a rollercoaster ride of possible suspects. They ranged from best friends and neighbors to ex-wives. Turns out, Peggy got her former guy, Jim Huden (Penikett) to do the evil deed.
