Daniella Karagach & Pasha Pashkov Give An Important Life Update
Daniella Karagach is no longer the reigning Mirrorball Champion. She and her partner Iman Shumpert took first place back in Season 30, but she handed her title off to Mark Ballas and Charli D’Amelio after their victory this week.
In any normal year, Daniella and her husband Pasha Pashkov would go on tour with the rest of the cast. However, many fans were really surprised to see that their names weren’t on the cast list this year. So what happened?
As it turns out, Daniella and Pasha have a pretty great reason not to go on tour this year. Keep reading to learn more about their special surprise!
Daniella Karagach managed to keep a big secret all season long
Jenna Johnson opted not to join DWTS this season due to her pregnancy. Lindsay Arnold also didn’t join this season, and later revealed she was indeed pregnant and due in May. Witney Carson did manage to perform while pregnant this season and announced her own special surprise during the season finale.
It appears that Daniella Karagach also competed this season while pregnant — she and Pasha just chose to keep things a secret until now!
The dancers posted a sweet pregnancy announcement on their Instagram pages.
“Baby Pashkov coming May β23π€ We love you more than words could ever express,” Daniella captioned her own post. Her fans, friends, and cast mates all offered up their congratulations.
“I HAVE NO WORDS!!!!!! Just tears of joy for you both!!!! π€π€π€π€” Jenna Johnson wrote in the comments.Β
“πβ€οΈπ weβre so happy for you!!!” the official DWTS Instagram account added.
Jenna Johnson is due in January 2023, but Witney Carson, Lindsay Arnold, and now Daniella are all due in May. By next summer, there will be four new Dancing With The Stars babies!

Will the dancers come back for another season in the fall?
Daniella Karagach and the rest of the pregnant dancers certainly could come back for Season 32 if they wished. They’ll have all summer to train and make an official decision before Season 32 starts in September. While fans would love to see the women return, they also understand if they choose to step away. Raising a family is a lot of hard work — and so is competitive ballroom dancing.
Sharna Burgess gave birth to her son in July and seriously considered joining the cast of Season 31. But ultimately, she decided to stay home and care for her son instead.
Anything could happen, but in the meantime, fans wish the dancers all the best! Stay tuned for the latest DWTS pregnancy updates. There will be plenty of more baby news to share in the new year.
