On Thursday, November 17, Ellen Pompeo shared a photo of herself in a mustard color turtleneck. She sat in front of a pink neon sign that read, “All You Need is Love.” The Hollywood star glowed in the photo. Ellen wanted to give back some of that love.

She also wore a full face of makeup, which consisted of groomed eyebrows, light eyeshadow, mascara, and nude lipstick. The actress also wore gold hoop earrings. In her Instagram caption, she walked away from her iconic role as Meredith Grey on the long-running drama series.

“I am eternally grateful and humbled by the love and support you all have shown me, Meredith GREY, and the show for 19 seasons!” Ellen Pompeo wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “Through it all…None of it….Would have been possible without the best fans in the world.”

Teases a possible return?

She credited her fans for making her “ride so fun and iconic.” Ellen wants to give that love back somehow. The ABC star teased that she will return to the show in some form. This isn’t the end of her journey and her character’s story.

“This isn’t your first time on the rollercoaster…you know the show must go on and I’ll definitely be back to visit,” Ellen Pompeo teased in her message. “With a lot of love and immense gratitude Xo E.”
