‘Below Deck’: Kate Chastain Has Choice Words For Natasha Webb

Kate Chastain had some choice words for Natasha Webb. The Below Deck alum shared her opinion about the new chief stew that’s gotten heat for her behavior on Season 7 of Below Deck Med. She joined the spinoff for the current season.

Natasha leads the interior team with stews Kyle Viljoen and Natalya Scudder. For the entire season, she was distracted by her boatmance with chef Dave White and her ex-boyfriend — both of which fell apart. Fans have also questioned her leadership skills when it came to her work ethic and her team.

Kate served as a chief stew for six seasons since the show’s inception. During her time on Brandi Glanville’s Unfiltered podcast, she didn’t hold back on what she thought about Natasha.

Kate Chastain goes unfiltered in a new interview

The Below Deck OG cast member didn’t hold back. Kate Chastain admitted that she always tries to be as neutral as possible when it comes to watching the current crew members. However, she couldn’t help but say what she was really feeling. Kate got candid as she talked about her own mistakes as a chief stew.

“I always try to be pretty diplomatic but I just can’t resist… This Below Deck Med chief stew, she’s just really, really, really awful at her job and in so many ways,” Kate Chastain told Brandi Glanville. “First of all, I understand that in my first season, I put a humongous d*** blanket on a bed. But that was elegant humor.”

The former chief stewardess blushed when Natasha brought out a suggestive toy for the charter guests. Kate called her “tacky” and “cringe.” She also called Natasha out for the drinks she made throughout the charter season. Kate likened it to a “Daytona Beach spring break bar.”

Brandi noted that the drinks are something one would find on a cruise ship. Kate said that Natasha wasn’t given elegance. Rather, she was “giving cruise vibes.” She joked that she knows how to make her drinks since she drinks a lot.

Shares thoughts on Below Deck Med Season 7 crew

Natasha wasn’t the only person who Kate Chastain talked about in the interview. She shared her thoughts on Kyle and Natalya. Kate felt that the second stew was “a little too extra, a little too sassy.” However, she had nothing but kind words to say about Natalya, who had issues with both stews this season.

Kate Chastain feels that Nat understands what yachting is about. As for Natasha: “This chief stew is not it.” Kate isn’t the only one who feels this way. Below Deck Med alum Hannah Ferrier called her “boring” while BDSY star Daisy Kelliher said it was painful to watch her this season. Ouch.
