Vinny Guadagnino Hopes To Continue Dancing In The New Year
Vinny Guadagnino’s run on Dancing With The Stars may be over. However, the Jersey Shore star absolutely had the time of his life and would love to stick around in any way that he possibly can.
The DWTS pros will go on tour when the season is over. They routinely invite competitors from the current season to join them and Vinny is really hoping to get an invite. Keep reading to see what he had to say.
Vinny Guadagnino fell in love with ballroom dance while on the show
TV Insider managed to catch up with Vinny and his partner Koko Iwasaki after they left the competition Monday night. He was sad to leave the show but didn’t feel bad at all about losing to Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater. The judges opted to save them over Vinny and Koko. The Jersey Shore star said he and the Hallmark actor had become quite close backstage.
Now, Trevor and Emma are preparing for the DWTS semifinals. But as for Vinny, he’s hoping to get an invite for the upcoming tour. He adores dancing and would love to perform for audiences across the country — especially if it means he isn’t getting scored by judges.
“I’ve got to ask the details and talk to Koko. I love the process. Dancing in a competition for someone who’s never danced before is hard, but the tour sounds fun,” Vinny told TV Insider. Koko did the tour last season before joining the show as a pro dancer.
And as for the first-time pro, she’s still a little sad about the elimination.
“It’s emotional,” Koko told the publication. “I do not think I’m ready to talk about it. I will say I am so proud of Vinny. I have a ‘forever brother.’”

As soon as the season ends, the pros have a little over a month to start working on their routines for the tour. The fun and excitement begin on January 6, 2023. The first stop will be in National Harbor, Maryland. The tour will run through March 12, where it will end in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pros confirmed to be joining the tour this year are Britt Stewart, Alan Bersten, Emma Slater, Gleb Savchenko, Branon Armstrong, Sasha Farber and troupe members Alexis Warr and Kateryna Klishyna. The cast routinely updates and changes as time goes on. More pros may join the show, as well as celebrity contestants.
