He shared the dangers of pumpkin carving on social media. On Friday, October 28, Rob took to his Instagram Story to share his Halloween tradition. He’s been spending more time with his kids lately.

This comes on the heels of his divorce from his ex-wife, Eryn Marciano. The estranged couple shares two children — Madelynn, 10, and Mason, 4. Eryn filed for divorce from the meteorologist in June 2021 after 11 years of marriage. The news of their divorce came as a shock to fans of the couple.

Rob Marciano warns about pumpkin carving

The ABC World News weatherman posted a festive photo on his Instagram Story. Rob Marciano talked about their family tradition of caving out pumpkins around Halloween. He posted a photo of the jack-o-lantern with a bottle of pumpkin ale next to it. Across the photo, Rob wrote: “Carved by dad who miraculously kept all 10 fingers.”

He included another snapshot of the results of his pumpkin carving efforts. Rob wanted to enjoy some ale while he was carving. However, he may have enjoyed it too much as he was handling a sharp knife. Rob warned his fans not to drink while carving. It could lead to disastrous results.

He followed up with his kids, who are excited about Halloween. His son Mason was dancing around in his festive pajamas. Rob Marcian joked in his Instagram Story: “What happens when he’s tasked with finally finishing off last year’s candy.” He included the shocked and pumpkin emojis.

Mason was dancing the “Paw Patrol Pup Pup Boogie.” The four-year-old was hyper from all the candy he ate. Rob shifted from his guys’ weekend to the role of dad this holiday weekend. He often shares glimpses into his family life as a single dad.

GMA meteorologist loves being with his kids

Earlier this month, Rob Marciano admitted that he was happy to be home with his kids. Even though he loves being where the wild weather is, he’s just as content at home. Rob posted a photo of himself with Mason and his daughter Madelynn enjoying quality time together. His kids were so excited to see him that they ended up “smushing” him onto the couch.

“Happy to be home #smushparty,” Rob Marciano wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
