On Thursday, Deadline reported that Alexa PenaVega (Taking A Shot At Love, Spy Kids) and Carlos PenaVega (A Midnight Kiss, Big Time Rush) have signed a multi-picture contract with Hallmark Media.
Lisa Hamilton Daly, the Executive Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Media shared how important the couple, who recently starred together in the fantastic Hallmark movie Love In The Limelight, is to the network.
Alexa and Carlos PenaVega have become an important part of the Hallmark family over the years and we couldn’t be happier to extend our partnership with them.
Whether starring together or headlining their own movies, the energy, creativity and passion they bring to each project is infectious and we can’t wait to see what lies ahead.

Why The PenaVegas Love Working With Hallmark
In turn, the PenaVegas have shared their own statement, explaining how the network is family-friendly. This means that they can continue to do the thing they love, without sacrificing family life.
Hallmark has become a second home for our family. Over the last four years they have given us opportunities to grow as actors and producers all while raising our children, even if it means having the family on set!
Hallmark is known for its family-friendly set. The PenaVegas have three children, and they spend time together whether they are filming, Carlos is on tour, or they are on their boat.
However, this is not a new relationship with the network. The couple has starred together in several movies. Besides Limelight, they have starred together in Enchanted Christmas, Love At Sea, and Picture Perfect Mysteries.
Developing projects alongside them has been a highlight of our careers thus far. We are thrilled to be able to continue creating content that is family friendly and current, while maintaining its core values that we love so much. Hallmark is special and we are looking forward to many more projects together.
More so, as both stars are multi-talented, there is no doubt their next movie will be another special one.

One thing is for sure, the PenaVegas are always doing new things and the fans are enjoying everted step. The couple has a vlog called La Vida PenaVega, where they share their life living on their boat and traveling.
However, they have been more landlocked in the past year. Carlos has been touring with Big Time Rush. In addition, the couple has written their first book called What If Love Is The Point?
