Back then, her followers speculated that she was homesick and that she was unhappy in New Jersey. This week, Josie Bates Balka shared a photo of Katie on her Instagram Stories, revealing that she’s currently in Tennessee. You can check out the photo below, which features Katie with her three-year-old niece, Willow.
This photo was later posted on Reddit, where fans began talking about Katie Bates and Travis Clark’s frequent trips to Tennessee. Though they certainly could just be visiting family, fans are beginning to think there’s something bigger going on.
A few fans threw around the idea that Katie and Travis are house-hunting. They will soon welcome their first baby to the world, and maybe they want her to live close to her cousins in Tennessee. Plus, if Katie truly is homesick in New Jersey, she may be interested in moving back near her family.
One Reddit user said, “Calling it now, speculating that she and the mister are house hunting in TN.”
Another fan added, “I think Katie needs her sisters around her to be completely happy.”
Someone else said she could be moving to Tennessee to work at the Bates Sisters Boutique, which Carlin and Whitney run. Katie has helped out there before but doesn’t seem to be an official part of the team.
