‘Alaskan Bush People’ Matt Brown Explains Social Media Absence
Matt Brown has been making regular “accountability posts” on Instagram for over a year now. This is part of his recovery journey from his battles with drug and alcohol addiction. However, recently he has gone days at a time without a post, and it has some fans worried.
Matt took to Instagram this week and explained the absence of his regular posts. He also said why he has been taking some time off lately.
Matt Brown on taking a break from his scheduled posts
Matt Brown posted a new video this week. He mentioned he hasn’t posted as many videos on Instagram or YouTube lately. After mentioning how the year and time has been moving so fast lately, he didn’t even realize how long it had been since he put a new video up. He said he has been really busy lately, and that was part of the reason.
However, he also said that he has been making big plans for his upcoming videos and that has also caused him to slow down on releasing them right now. In the caption, he wrote, “Its been a while sense I’ve done a video, so I want to catch everyone up on what’s been going on,” and then he explained his plans in detail.
Matt explained he has been editing a lot of his YouTube videos as he can. He mentioned he has not had one out in a while (his last YouTube video was on August 21), but there was a good reason for their absence. Matt said he wanted to get a lot of videos shot, edited, and ready, so he can release them more “back-to-back.” He said the ideal release time for YouTube videos would be three to four days.
“I feel like when I do my mountain adventures, and it takes me a week or two in between videos, it kind of takes something away from the adventure,” Matt admitted. “It doesn’t seem like the viewer is as involved in it.” He said if he can get a few videos done, he can make it seem more cohesive.
Will Matt Brown be back on Alaskan Bush People?
Matt Brown will most likely not be back on Alaskan Bush People this season, or in any future season. He left under terrible circumstances, with both sexual assault claims leveled against him by two women and a trip to rehab. Matt then blamed the producers of the show for supplying him with the drugs, causing huge strife.
If Matt could have returned, it would have happened last season during Billy Brown’s funeral. However, he wasn’t there, at least not on camera. Another chance might be at his brother Bear’s wedding in January this season. However, with comments Raiven had made, that didn’t happen either from the look of it. Luckily, fans have his social media videos to follow his adventures.
