‘The View’ Fans Accuse Sunny Hostin Of Bullying?

Fans of The View are outraged with Sunny Hostin. They accused her of bullying newbie co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin. This isn’t the first time that Sunny’s taken shots at Alyssa. Some of the fans called her out on social media for her latest comment.

It all started when the hosts discussed Gwyneth Paltrow’s essay on turning 50, which she published on Goop. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Joy immediately shut down Alyssa for her shocking comment about aging. The co-hosts continued to get testy with one another during the segment. The View fans slam Sunny Hostin’s rude disposition

During Friday’s broadcast of The View, Sunny Hostin came for Alyssa for her comments about becoming a mother in her 30s. First, Joy rolled her eyes when the newcomer said she was turning 33 years old. Alyssa explained that she and her husband talked about waiting to have children.

“It is the other ticking clock though. My husband and I haven’t had kids yet and even after moving, we had the conversation about waiting, so I can’t tell you how I feel when weeks go by and I see another girlfriend pregnant,” Alyssa told her co-hosts.

Sunny Hostin chimed in and said: “Eggs get old.” She kept repeating it as Alyssa shared her story. However, Sara Haines told Alyssa that it was okay to wait. She didn’t want the co-host to “stress” about her situation because her time will come.

The View fans took to Reddit to talk about the snide conversation. Some of them called out Sunny Hostin for her “mean” and “disgusting” comments. Some even accused her of acting like a bully. Here are just some of the comments:

• “Sunny is starting to become unlikable! IMO.”
• “Sunny bullies Alyssa and I think she thinks Alyssa will be some one-year temp cohost or something, like, ‘oh she won’t last’ type situation.”
• “It’s very unprofessional. This is her colleague.”
• “I almost spit my coffee when she said it… she was mean with it! I was shocked.”

This isn’t the first time

Sunny Hostin shut down Alyssa Farah Griffin before. The last time happened over the summer when the new co-host tested for the position of permanent host. During a heated discussion about the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, Alyssa said that she would rather vote for a moderate because they get the job done. She also expressed her concerns about the bill raising taxes.

Joy argued that only corporations and rich people would pay taxes. Alyssa argued that the money from corporations will go to the American people. Sunny Hostin chimed and said that most corporations keep the profits to themselves. The studio audience and viewers at home applauded her for shutting Alyssa down.

Sunny reminded Alyssa that a “Republican economy policy” doesn’t work because no one ends up rich. The two ladies continued to argue during the debate. Fans were rooting for Sunny at that time, but that’s not the case anymore. At this point, some of them are getting fed up with the way she treats Alyssa.
