Did Meri Brown have a little too much to drink before filming?
It’s pretty clear to Meri’s followers that she’s still struggling from time to time. After the infamous catfishing scandal, nothing ever seemed to be the same in the Brown household. But in recent weeks, fans noticed that the TLC star is spending more time with friends on outings. Meri really seems to know how to have a good time when she’s in her element.
But during a recent episode of Fridays With Friends, fans suspected that Meri perhaps a little too much fun.
During the 19-minute episode, Meri hung out with some of her friends and just had a great time. But in the comments, several viewers pointed out that something seemed off with the TLC personality.
“Mary have you been drinking?” one viewer asked.
“Lots of water although many people think it’s otherwise lol! @justjennreally and I just know how to have fun!” Meri replied.
That viewer wasn’t alone, however. Several other followers pointed out that Meri definitely sounded like she had too much to drink. The TLC star continued to deny that she was drunk on camera.

The TLC star navigates through some major life changes
No matter what’s going on with Meri, fans can tell she’s having some major life changes. They appreciate the fact that Meri seems to have more friends and actually has a life apart from Kody these days.
Some of the new independent streak may have to do with her child, Leon. Leon recently came out as trans and genderqueer — a big step away from the traditional conservative values that Kody tried to push on the family. After the announcement came, Meri said she fully supported Leon.
As time goes on, the TLC star may devote more of her time to her child and friends and spend less time on Kody. And Meri seems much better for it overall.
