‘Teen Mom’ Chelsea Houska & Hubby’s Exciting Dream Comes True

Teen Mom alum Chelsea Houska and her hubby’s dream has finally come true. The two have been documenting their lives together on social media. They started building their dream farmhouse in South Dakota in April 2020, where they raise their children and many farm animals. Chelsea and her husband Cole DeBoer share three kids.

During the height of the pandemic, they wanted to get started on the process. However, that kind of halted their plans. Still, Chelsea and Cole were positive about making it happen. In August 2020, Chelsea shared an update about their kitchen cabinets. Their family-of-six home was built from the ground up.

Chelsea Houska & Cole DeBoer make their dream come true

In March 2020, Chelsea Houska first made the announcement to her followers about their dream. The couple wanted to have their own famous. They wanted it to be built and customized to their liking. They were excited about what was about to happen.

“Holy crap. We were so excited for this journey. We don’t know much about building a house,” Chelsea Houska wrote on her Instagram post at the time. “BUT I have been preparing for this for years if you count Pinterest-ing and alllll the farmhouse pages I follow.”

During that same year, they also announced they were expecting their third child. They already share a one-year-old son Walton and a five-year-old daughter, Layne. Chelsea shares 12-year-old daughter Aubree with her ex Adam Lind. In January 2021, Chelsea welcomed a fourth daughter named Walker June.

They made sure their dream home had plenty of space for their ever-growing family. Since the birth of their latest child, fans are wondering if Chelsea and Cole will add another one to their bunch. So far, they haven’t said anything about their future family plans.

Update on the Teen Mom alum’s farmhouse

Chelsea Houska and Cole’s home sits on massive land, which provides beautiful views of their expansive property. They can sit inside their house and look at the trees and pond out in their backyard. Over time, they started adding features to their home, including a new roof and windows. They painted the exterior a jet black color.

In February 2021, Chelsea Houska shared another update about their home on her Instagram page. She explained the vision behind their house. The former reality star wanted something that was “comfortable,” “modern,” and “welcoming.”  The mood on the inside somehow matches the exterior.

“We have a lot of black in our house, and our house is black on the outside. I’m not afraid of a moody room or a moody moment,” Chelsea Houska said. “I want to keep it simple but cozy … It does look modern, but it doesn’t look like too crispy [and like you] can’t hang out.”
