Fans Warn Kim Kardashian To Stop Scamming & Lying
Kim Kardashian fans want her to stop scamming and lying. This comes after the reality star announced her new skincare line. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kim is expanding her empire by launching a new whole new brand. She relaunched KKW Beauty as SKKN by Kim Skin Care Line.
Some fans think she’s trying to copy Kylie Jenner. Others accused her of stealing the name from Lori Harvey. This nine-product skincare ritual is intense. It’s also made from clean ingredients and comes in refillable products, which come at a cost. Read on to learn more.
Fans call Kim Kardashian “out of touch”
Fans wish Kim Kardashian would stop trying to scam them. They think she’s “out of touch” after she unveiled her new brand on social media. On Wednesday, June 1, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum introduced her millions of fans and followers to SKKN by Kim. It will include products that are part of an extensive nine-step skincare routine.
I’m excited to finally introduce to you SKKN BY KIM, a rejuvenating nine-product skincare ritual that I have developed from start to finish.

Kim Kardashian also took part in an exclusive interview with The New York Times. The 41-year-old shared the inspiration behind her skincare brand and shared the prices of the products. She explained that it’s more of a “prestige” collection, which consists of cleanser, toner, and exfoliator, which already total $630. That doesn’t include the six other products that fans would need to use.
The line also includes a hyaluronic acid serum and night oil, which are $90 and $95 respectively. Fans are not happy with Kim Kardashian’s new skincare line. They took to social media to slam the outrageous prices.
“$630? That s*** better be super-sized. Who the hell could afford that?” one fan wrote.
“You can buy all of that stuff for less than $100 with other brands,” another chimed in. “None of that stuff is special.”
Kim Kardashian claims this ritual is a “necessity” to use all of the ingredients in the products that she “would not really miss out on.” She claims that all of the products come in “refillable packaging, and clean, science-backed ingredients designed to nourish all skin types, tones, and textures at all stages of maturity.” The brand doesn’t drop on June 21, but she may run into another issue.
Did she steal the brand name?
Fans also accused Kim Kardashian of stealing the brand name from Lori Harvey, who already has her own skincare company called SKN. This could create confusion with their products. Lori launched the company in October 2021, while Kim just came out with her new brand.
“The name is a little too close to Lori Harvey’s Skincare brand to me,” esthetician Sean Garette posted on Twitter. “SKN by LH vs. SKKN by Kim — I don’t like that.”
“Kim naming her skincare brand SKKN when Lori Harvey’s skincare brand name is SKN doesn’t sit right with me,” Makayla Davis wrote. “Seems like they’re stealing from a black woman for the thousandth time.”
Kim Kardashian has been accused of cultural appropriation and stealing from black women in the past. In 2019, originally announced her shapewear brand, Skims, as Kimono, which also received caused controversy in the Asian community.
