Does Erika Jayne Want Her Kim Kardashian Moment?
Does Erika Jayne want her Kim Kardashian moment? It’s no secret that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star likes to tell like it is. She also doesn’t mind causing controversy on social media. Not a day goes by when Erika gets blasted for her insensitive comments and social media posts. However, some fans think she’s trying to take a page out of Kim’s book.
Erika Jayne calls out the “lazy” people
Erika Jayne received backlash after she made a tweet about “lazy” people. The Bravo star woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She took to Twitter to let her followers know what she really thinks about late risers.
“Anyone that wakes up after 4:30AM is lazy,” Erika Jayne tweeted on Monday, May 2.
Of course, that post got a reaction from her followers. Most of them were proud to call themselves lazy. One even asked Erika if they’re still lazy if they don’t fall asleep until 4:30 a.m.
The Bravo star shared their tweet with the response, “that’s completely different.” After she got backlash for the original tweet, she returned to Twitter the following day to admit that she woke up at 5:00 a.m. She also included the hashtag “#lazyboots.”
Some fans were amused by the tweet. They loved that Erika Jayne was being honest about waking up a half-hour later. Another fan wrote, “I wake up at 6:00 a.m. I guess I’m EXTRA lazy.”

Interestingly enough, Erika Jayne got a lot of support for both tweets. She didn’t cause a ruckus on Twitter like she normally does. That might not be good news for the controversial reality star. Some fans on Reddit think she wants to have her Kim Kardashian moment.
Stealing Kim K’s thunder?
One fan took to Reddit to share a screenshot of Erika Jayne’s tweet. They bluntly titled the thread, “It’s obvious she wants her Kim K ‘get your f***ing a** up & work’ 15 minutes of fame.” Some fans think it sounds similar to Kim Kardashian’s comments about women in business.
“I have the best advice for women in business. Get your f***ing a** up and work,” Kim told Variety in February 2022. “It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”
While she didn’t apologize for her previous comment, she explained that it was taken out of context. During her appearance on Good Morning America, Kim apologized for her comment “if it was received that way.” Erika Jayne continues to double down on her statement. She told her followers not to take everything she says so seriously.
“Why do people take what I tweet so personally? This is Twiter. It’s dumb here. Stop thinking I’m talking to you. Thnx,” she later tweeted.
