Gabriela Barragan from Below Deck Sailing Yacht threatened to quit in the Monday, April 11 episode. She was having a hard time after the crew outing. The second stew had too much drink, which may have set off her anxiety. The following morning was not only rough because of her hangover, but also because of her frustrations with her crew members.

During the latest crew outing, Gabriela argued with Chef Marcos Spaziani. She felt like she wasn’t being heard. It’s bad enough that she’s been butting heads with third stew Ashley Marti all season. Gabriela was sick of the crew drama and wanted off the yacht.

Gabriela Barragan had a terrible week

Tom Pearson was at the center of drama for much of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3. He was criticized for the way he handled anchor watch. Tom was also involved in a love triangle between first mate Gary King and Ashley. Now, Gabriela found herself in the middle of the drama.

She got into arguments with Ashley and Marcos. After a difficult charter, Gabriela got intoxicated during the crew outing. In the latest episode of the Below Deck franchise, the crew is between charters, which means they will be busier than ever since they’re down one person. Tensions are high – especially among the crewmates.

Gabriela is feeling some of that pressure. The next day, she pulled Ashley aside and told her that she wanted to leave the boat. Gabriela’s work has been slipping as she clashed with Chef Marcos and overslept for her shift the next morning. She was so panicked that she also dropped an entire tray of champagne flutes.

“I hate that I’m making a bad impression on people I look up to, that have more experience than me and are great at their jobs,” Gabriela admitted in her confessional. “I low-key want to cry on the spot.”

In the scene, she told Ashley that she wants to “quit.” Gabriela felt like she was always “in trouble for something.” This took a toll on her self-esteem. Some Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans think Gabriela’s behavior was out of line, while others didn’t want to see her go.

Would she return to Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

After nearly quitting Below Deck Sailing Yacht, would she do it all over again? In an exclusive interview with The List, Gabriela revealed if she would return to the show for Season 4. Despite the drama that happens this season, Gabriela would love to come back for another season.

“If they give me a call and ask me to film Season 4, I 100% would do it again,” Gabriela told The List. “Absolutely, hands down.”

The Below Deck breakout star divulged that her friends told her that she was “made for reality TV.” Gabriela admitted that she’s “dramatic,” and is willing to show that side of herself on the show. Rather than coming back as a stew, she would return as a deckhand this time around. Gabriela is qualified to do both jobs and would love to flex her skills on the exterior side.

This comes after Gabriela called Below Deck Sailing Yacht a “Petri dish for drama” in a previous interview with The List.
