Welcome to Plathville star blossoming after leaving strict parents
Welcome to Plathville follows Barry and Kim Plath as they raise their nine children. The ultra-conservative parents set strict boundaries for their kids. Several of the older children rebelled against those boundaries, especially Ethan, Micah, and Moriah.
Now 19-years-old, Moriah Plath is blossoming after leaving her parents’ home. In 2021, she moved to Tampa, Florida, with her brother Ethan and his wife Olivia.
Moriah also recently released her debut single, “Missed Myself,” about her struggle with others controlling her. Many took the new song as confirmation of a split with boyfriend Max Kallschmidt, but it could also be about breaking free from her family.
Moriah Plath finds herself after jetting off to New York City
After releasing her emotional song, Moriah Plath took another step in finding herself. She jetted off to New York City and documented part of her trip on her Instagram.
Rather than sharing her exploring the city in real-time, she posted a short highlight video of her time in the Big Apple. The clip shows notable NYC landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty and the Washington Square Arch.
The video also shows a brief shot of Plath at the famous Grimaldi’s pizzeria.
Additionally, Moriah shares a glimpse at her seemingly enjoying the nightlife at a club in the city. See the full highlight video below:
Fan makes shocking claim about Moriah’s ex
It’s unclear who, if anyone, accompanied Moriah Plath to NYC. Her typical travel buddy, sister-in-law Olivia Plath, posted from a wedding shoot in Novia Scotia.
However, it’s clear that her ex-boyfriend Max was not on the trip. On a previous post about her trip to the city, one follower asked about Kallschmidt. “Are you with Max anymore?” they asked.
While Moriah didn’t respond, another follower chimed in with a shocking accusation. “He cheated on her or something. So no. Check out Max’s YouTube channel.“
Fans had been speculating about a split for a while before he confirmed the news on his YouTube channel.
He also previously spilled the news that Welcome to Plathville will return to TLC for another season, though the network has yet to confirm the renewal.
