Kody Brown May Find A Replacement Wife & Here’s Why

Kody Brown has made his name and living off of being a polygamist for twelve years now. So what does he do now that he is down a wife? A Reddit poll was started to see if fans believed he would take another wife. Surprisingly enough, it was pretty even and everyone had different reasons.
Kody Brown- The Eternal Polygamist
When Sister Wives began in 2010, Kody had so much fun showing off his plural family. At the time, he was legally married to Meri. His two spiritual wives were Janelle and Christine and he only had twelve children with one on the way (Truely was still cooking). While showing cameras around the plural home they lived in, Kody was making jokes and having a blast. They shared a single-family home built by a polygamist with each wife having their own space. It allowed them to be close yet have some autonomy. They were like a well-oiled machine. At the same time, Kody was courting his fourth wife, Robyn.
Everyone seemed to work so well together and be so accepting, no one would ever guess Christine was struggling inside and completely burnt out. She lived in the basement and that was considered the worst place you could be as a polygamist wife. Later in the series, Meri had an online relationship, Janelle and Kody found themselves at odds, and he was questioning the life he chose. Still, he maintained this was what he was called to do and was not giving up. He even stated that the wives could leave but he did not want to for fear of karma. Ultimately, Christine chose divorce so there is a vacancy in the family. Will Kody take a new wife?
Taking A New Bride?
Christine has her own show but is rumored to still be filming Season 17. However, what about Kody Brown? He has known four wives since 2010 so will he fill that void with another? A Reddit poll was started and it is mixed yet everyone had their valid thoughts. “I don’t believe Kody wants to find another wife but I do think he would marry again if it is the only way to keep the TLC money coming in! I can’t picture Kody or Robyn working for a living!” one person commented.
Another echoed that sentiment: “Kody will marry if another wife is convenient or financially lucrative, he’s not that deep or morally responsible.” Some disagreed: “I don’t think he has any interest in more wives at this point. He doesn’t want polygamy.” That was followed by: “He’s not getting any more wives. I think he wants to be alone.”
