‘Below Deck’ Tom Pearson Says He’s ‘Natural’ On Camera
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 crew member Tom Pearson claims he’s a “natural” on camera. The deckhand teased what’s to come for the rest of the season. He made a big impression on the first night. Tom vomited after he drank too much during the crew outing.
Fans recall that he got sick when he returned to his cabin. Tom shares the room with Captain Glenn Shephard, who looked less than impressed. He told Tom to sleep in the crew mess. However, Tom didn’t make it and he puked in the bathroom.
Tom Pearson is just being himself
What you see is what you get. In a new interview with Express.co.uk, Tom says he was 100% himself on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3. He shared his insights on filming for the Bravo series and what fans can expect. Tom didn’t have to put on an act because he says that he was a “natural” in front of the cameras.
“I think, to be honest, I think a lot of people will feel like that, for me, it felt really natural, and everything you see is just me being myself it is completely authentic,” the Below Deck newbie told Express.co.uk. “That is Tom Pearson, and that is me in a nutshell, a lot of my friends back home, well everyone back home that’s watching and knows me will tell you it’s just great to see me being exactly myself I didn’t change.”
When his friends watch Below Deck with him, they’re not surprised. Because that’s really how Tom comes across in real life. Tom said that people “either thrive in the environment with cameras, or you don’t.” He then teased that not everyone will handle the cameras this season.
“You’re going to find out about a few people throughout all the season, or as you watch the show go on, you’ll see who really takes to it and who sort of doesn’t take too,” Tom added.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 spoilers?
Tom didn’t share any Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 spoilers in his interview. He admitted that he didn’t have much to tease. He doesn’t know how the rest of the season will unfold as he’s watching it in real-time as well. He’s not sure what they’re going to show next.
Tom did admit that things will get “juicy” later in the season. While he wishes that the Below Deck cameras didn’t film him getting “sick in the bathroom,” he doesn’t regret what happened. He previously called himself a “legend” and said the moment put him “on the map.”
Tom got sick when he drank “mix tequila,” which he normally doesn’t. Yet, he’s used to having those nights when he gets too drunk. The yachtie isn’t “embarrassed” by what happened, and thinks it made for good TV. Tom claims that he received praise for that moment.
