Sharna Burgess Proudly Shows Off Her Baby Bump On Instagram
Dancing With The Stars fans felt very excited when Sharna Burgess announced her pregnancy earlier this year.
But now that she’s getting farther along, fans are eager to hear updates. Sharna recently posted an adorable baby bump photo and updated fans on her condition.
Keep reading to find out how the Australian dancer is feeling these days.
Sharna Burgess just can’t wait to be a mother
Brian Austin Green already has four sons. His baby boy with Sharna Burgess will be his fifth. But it’s the first child for Sharna and she’s over the moon about her pregnancy.
“Bumpin our way into 23 weeks :),” Sharna began her Instagram post, featuring her adorable bump. She made a list of things the baby, dubbed “Peanut,” is doing inside her womb. According to the mom-to-be, Peanut loves “practicing gymnastics skills” and “uses [her] bladder as his springboard, landing mat, and pillow.”
Sharna goes on to include that the baby apparently does not like Kombucha, but does enjoy Greek salads. She’s also emotional and cries at even silly things like Ford commercials.
“Pregnancy is wild, and I am loving every second of watching observing and admiring the magic that is happening. Even when it’s hard,” the 36-year-old added. “There is a freaking HUMAN growing inside of me. He’s gonna have a whole life, hopefully a beautiful one and I will have brought him into this world. My body is doing things all on its own, making space and getting him what he needs. I get it now, I get that’s it’s a miracle. I get the magic because I feel it. I AM it. HE is it.”
“What a gift. 3 1/2 months to go. I know it only gets harder, but I already know it’s worth it. 💙,” she ends her post.
The Australian dancer calls for aid for Ukraine
Although Sharna Burgess is happy about her pregnancy journey, she also wants to draw attention to the crisis in Ukraine. While her friend Maks Chmerkovskiy was trapped in the country, she offered her support to his family.
“Current me is really looking forward to the day that Ukraine is no longer at war, and innocent people aren’t dying. Sending love and strength to everyone, please stay present, and please donate if you can,” the Season 27 champion captioned an Instagram video.
Since then, Sharna has continued to post resources for fans to help the Ukrainian people. Luckily, Maks made it back to the United States safe and sound. But fans really appreciated that she took the time to speak up, even though she has a lot going on in her personal life.
