Lala Kent Focuses On Mental Health Amid Randall Emmett Split
Lala Kent is focusing on her mental health amid her split from Randall Emmett. The Vanderpump Rules star spoke to Women’s Health about her fitness routine, self-care routine, and more. There have been times in her life when her mind would start racing. So, she knew she had to get her mental health in check.
The Bravo star ended her three-year engagement to the film producer in October 2021. At the time, rumors swirled that he allegedly cheated on her with two other women. Shortly thereafter, more cheating rumors surfaced on social media. Lala has since moved on with her life and is focusing on herself and her daughter, Ocean.
Lala Kent reveals her diet and fitness plan
Her secret to staying in such good shape is a workout buddy. Lala Kent admitted that she’s not good at going to the gym by herself. She gets confused and overwhelmed whenever she sees the workout machines. The reality star has been working with personal trainer Jenna Willis, who has also become her good friend.
“She’s been my trainer for a very long time and also a very dear friend,” Lala Kent told Women’s Health on Thursday, February 17. “If you’re looking for a trainer, you have to find someone that you enjoy because it’s almost like a therapy session. We’re working on our body—and our mind and our soul and spirit.”
The one body that she focuses is on is her lower body. Lala love to work out on the elliptical. Next, she does band exercises and free weights that target a specific body such as abs, arms, and the booty. Lala admits that she loves booty workouts.
“I’m definitely into the bottom part of my body,” Lala Kent said.
The Give Them Lala founder calls deadlifts her “worst nightmare.” Yet, she feels so much better after she’s done with the workout. She loves the feeling in her legs whenever she walks down the stairs. Lala’s diet is more about eating in moderation, and breakfast is her favorite meal of the day.
Pump Rules star reveals how she deals with stress
Lala Kent also revealed that her diet and Botox injections help her combat migraines. When she’s stressed out, she practices breathwork. While a diet and exercise plan can work, “stress will kill us before a f***ing Twinkie,” she admitted. That’s when Lala discovered breathwork and used that to put her mind at ease.
Each day, Lala sets a time she sets aside for breathwork. Unfortunately, the recent stress in her life has made it hard for her to turn to the practice. She’s been navigating her new life as a single mom. Lala also has to work harder than ever before since she’s on her own.
“When my mind starts racing, and I can feel the elephant starting to sit on my chest, that’s when I know it’s time to go and get centered again,” Lala Kent said. “I think it’s really important to do that.”
