According to Deadline, a representative of the actor not only confirmed the actor was dead, but they shared some details regarding his cause of death. Born in Iran in 1943, it was not until the middle of the 60s that Vachik Mangassarian traveled into the United States. At the time, he worked in theater. He traveled between the US and Iran. At the time, he did some work for a director in Iran named Samuel Khachikian. It was in the 1970s that he landed his first role in Hollywood in The South’s Shark.
The late actor is survived by his two sisters Linda Lalaian, Elda Hacopian, and their spouses. He is also survived by his nephews Derek Hacopian and Ara Hacopian and his niece Aida Hacopian.
