The producers note that their hearts mourn her passing as they have worked with her for many years. The statement reveals the show will go on. Producers plan to release the film on January 17th. Instead of being a celebration of her 100th birthday, the film will be a tribute to the incredible life she has lived over the past few years.

This celebration of America’s sweetheart is an opportunity to remember Betty White’s amazing life and career. It’s a time to come together and enjoy Betty’s classic moments.”

The statement reads that they will be altering the name of the film to be Betty White: A Celebration.

Can customers get a refund?

On Twitter, there has been some chatter from customers wondering how they can get a refund on Betty White: 100 Years Young—A Birthday Celebration. There has been some pushback on this question because some think it is “too soon” and others thought it was just in poor taste to ask the question today.
