Peacock Drops ‘Chrisley Knows Thanksgiving’ Special: How To Watch
Chrisley fans can get ready to learn all of Julie Chrisley’s tasty Thanksgiving secrets. In a new special streaming on Peacock, the family is cooking together for a big meal. Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley, and Chloe Chrisley are learning how to cook Julie’s favorite recipes.
In the new trailer, Julie says, “Cooking has always been a passion of mine.” She goes on to say friends always ask for her recipes. Now with the help of her family, she’ll get to share some of her best. Judging from the preview the special will follow the same format as Chrisley Knows Best, with interviews between segments.
Does Julie Chrisley’s Family Want To Help?
In the trailer for Chrisley Knows Thanksgiving, Julie Chrisley tells her children they will be helping her cook. Savannah says, “Uh no,” immediately. Nanny Faye Chrisley is dressed as a turkey and says, “I was only invited to eat.”
Todd asks Julie, “Are you actually sure this is a good idea?” He tells his wife, he wants an edible Thanksgiving dinner. Despite some initial belly-aching, the kids start to pitch in. Grayson and Chase play rock, paper, scissors to see who has to take the innards out of the turkey, and Chase loses. Todd walks in and says, “There’s a lot of cooks in this kitchen.” Julie says, “We’ll need to say an extra prayer for him.”
Julie talked about the special in an interview with TV Insider. She said, “You’re also going to see some of my real cooking. You’re going to be able to follow along and play it back and get some great ideas.”
The Family Still Has A Fair Amount Of Shenanigans
Julie Chrisley gets the signature snark from her children as she tries to teach them how to cook. In true Nanny Faye fashion, she asks Julie if she’s going to add a little brandy to her cooking. Julie tells her, “We’re not going to be doing that with this one.” Chloe playfully stuffs her mouth with marshmallows. She says, “I’m a really chubby bunny.” Todd chastises Savannah for not knowing the difference between a placemat and a napkin.
Chase is shown brandishing the carving knife and fork rubbing them together. Savannah asks what he’s doing and he says, “I don’t know I saw it on TV.” Fans are excited to spend Thanksgiving with their favorite reality family. One said, “I can watch this special during the holidays.” Another said, “Love this family and their dynamic.”
The Chrisley Thanksgiving special is streaming started November 18th on Peacock. Fans can stream the special with a free account with ads. It will also air on USA on November 25th.
