“What’s Christmas without a little magic?” Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas is the magical, time-traveling Christmas movie you didn’t know you always wanted to see. It stars Lyndsy Fonseca (How I Met Your Mother), Chandler Massey (DOOL), Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future, Just In Time For Christmas), Lea Thompson (Back To The Future, Switched At Birth), Matt Walton (Tell Me A Story), and Erika Slezak (One Life To Live).

Other stars of Next Stop Christmas include Paige Herschell (American Housewife), Allie Trimm (30 Rock), Eric Freeman (Katy Keene), and Sorika Wolf (FBI: Most Wanted).

What Is Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas About?

Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas promises some whimsy and fun. According to the synopsis, this is about Angie (Fonseca) is a successful surgeon in New York City but finds herself wondering what her life would be like if she had married her former boyfriend Tyler (Freeman), who is now a successful sportscaster.

Angie takes the train home to spend the holiday with her family but when she arrives discovers it’s inexplicably 10 years earlier. At first, she’s naturally disoriented by her unexpected time travel but slowly acclimates.

With the advice of the train’s enigmatic conductor (Lloyd), Angie navigates her visit to this Christmas past as she tries to return to the present. As she works to figure out how to get back to the future, Angie has the chance to reconnect with her family.

In addition, she even teams up with her sister Kristen (Herschell) to help her parents, Evelyn (Thompson) and Marty (Walton), rekindle their romance. Along the way, Angie gains a new perspective and discovers what – and who – is truly important to her.

When Can You Watch Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas?

The premiere of Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas is on Saturday, November 6, at 8 p.m. Eastern. Encore showings include Sunday, November 7, at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 11, at 8 p.m., Saturday, November 20, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 24, at 12:00 a.m., and Sunday, November 28, at 8 a.m., all times Eastern.

One Life To Live Superstar Alum Stars In Next Stop, Christmas

In addition to the Back To The Future legends, One Life To Live’s Erika Slezak also stars in Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas. What is she permitted to share about her role? According to her website, Slezak has revealed that she will “play a wealthy woman who has lived in the town and knows everyone and is loved by everyone and she throws a huge Christmas party every year.”

However, “It’s not a big part, but a nice one and we’ll be shooting in Essex, CT.”

Erika Slezak portrayed Victoria from 1971 to 2013, a remarkable feat in the soap opera world. She only stopped because the ABC soap went off the air.

Many Former Soap Stars In Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas

In addition to OLTL’s Victoria Lord Buchanan, Erika Slezak, there are other soap opera alums in Next Stop, Christmas. Starting with Lyndsy Fonseca. She started out her career in the Young and the Restless as Colleen Carlton between 2001-2005.

In addition, Chandler Massey is in Days of Our Lives, playing Will Horton from 2010-2021.

Sorika Wolf even did a short stint on One Life To Live in 2011.

Is There A New Huey Lewis Song In Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas?

Could there be yet another connection to Back to The Future in Hallmark’s Next Stop, Christmas? It sure sounds like it. Many fans of the time travel blockbuster remember the classic Huey Lewis and The News song “The Power of Love” from the movie. Sounds like the band has recorded something new for this movie.

According to the Next. Stop Christmas production company, Synthetic Cinema, who posted on Instagram, “We just completed a little bit of a music deal with Huey Lewis…wonder what movie that would be for?”
