‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ Star Whitney Way Thore Hints At Season 9
My Big Fat Fabulous Life just wrapped up Season 8, so fans wonder about Season 9. Well, Whitney hinted about that on February 16. If and when it returns, what new storyline might the show bring? It seems unlikely that Chase Severino returns as TLC just covered all the drama from their split. But other loose ends remain that could just fit another season of the show.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life – Whitney hints at a Season 9
After the Tell-All ended, Whitney Way Thore tore into trolls who sent nasty messages to Chase Severino. That mainly came on a post that he shared on his Instagram. But she later took to her own social media. There, she talked about not wanting any further negativity. In fact, she told fans if the TLC show that she won’t tolerate it anymore. And said they can expect deleting if they persist with it. She said, “we are healing, we are moving on, and leaving all of that negative stuff behind.”
In her post, Whitney also said, “We all made it through and I am so appreciative of my fam and friends who are always by my side!” As fans saw her cry a lot, she reminded her fans it all happened some time back. So now, “we’re all feeling better.” Plus, she feels a bit more “hopeful these days.” The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star told her fans that she cries “a lot less now.” And, she settled into her home in Greensboro with her pup and cats. After that, she hinted at Season 9.
Season 9 of MBFFL sounds positive
As Witney mentioned “we” when she talked about feeling better, maybe she talked about more positive things in a new season. At the end of her message, after thanking everyone for Season 8, she said, “SEE Y’ALL SOON!” Well, that sounds like a strong hint that TLC renews the show again. In fact, a couple of things that emerged might sustain a happier storyline for another season. Although TLC never announced a renewal, that might happen in time.
As for new storylines, we mentioned that some fans think the show is so scripted that sometimes that makes it predictable. Recall, in episode 12, Whitney talked about weight loss surgery. We reported that some My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans think that might progress to her taking the idea forward in a new season. Potentially, she might look deeper into that option. Or even go through with it.
Meanwhile, Distractify raised another storyline possibility for Season 9. They mentioned the episode where fans saw her “rekindle her relationship with [ex-boyfriend] Lennie.” At the time, Whitney wondered about moving on from Chase. While the episode focused on her issues with Buddy and his girlfriend, that remains an avenue for another season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
