Duggar family followers of the TV show 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On, know that Jim Bob flips homes. He restores them and sells them after the makeover. Now, it looks like they stand to make a huge profit as they just listed one for $1.8 million. The massive home, known as the Baylor Mansion is situated in Springdale, Arkansas. Duggar family buy and flip homes all the time, but this one’s selling for $1.8 million
$1.8 million is a lot of money, and it seems the profits looking good for the Duggar family. Although Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar buy and renovate, actually the kids get involved as well. Quite often you see them all working on renovating homes that get flipped. In fact, way back in the early days of their TV shows, we saw the littlest kids helping to build their own home.
Today writes, “The whole family gets involved with renovations like this one. ” A family rep told Today Home that “The Duggars have a long history of real estate, long before they were even on TV.” But, this “was by far their biggest real estate project… the biggest flip and the biggest challenge. They had a lot of fun as a family doing it together.”‘ Certainly, the Baylor mansion presented challenges as it’s a 10,000-square-foot historic home.

Built in 1969, the massive home resembles a fortress
People reported that the Duggar family paid $230,000 for it in 2014. The house which was built in 1969 by Arlo Levick was in a shocking state of disrepair. Actually, the fortress-style home probably took a lot of work. In fact, it could “supposedly…withstand a nuclear attack.” However, the “Duggars kept some of the original features of the place.”
Additionally, the news outlet adds that the huge home is situated “on 2.73 acres.” Plus, it “features a sprawling stone patio above a three-and-a-half-car garage. Previously, the patio featured a green outdoor carpet, which the Duggars ripped up for a bare outdoor space.”
