Brandi Glanville cannot catch a break, though she allegedly caught a ringworm STD. The reality star welcomed former porn star and author Lisa Ann to her Unfiltered podcast for a frank discussion about things that happen in the bedroom. Brandi Glanville immediately asked Lisa Ann if she’d ever heard of “sexually transmitted ringworm.” The RHOBH star confessed that she thought she had the STD in her throat.
Lisa Ann had heard of it and warned that it was often ignored in the porn industry because no one knows the symptoms. “We had to train our makeup artists that when a new member of talent would show up, they would have to get naked in a window where there’s good light, and they would inspect their body to see if they see any patches because it’s incredibly contagious,” she said about sexually transmitted ringworm.
Brandi Glanville went on to reveal how she thinks she caught the contagious illness.

According to the CDC, sexually transmitted ringworm is an “emerging” sickness. The fungal infection can affect the skin, hair, and nails. It’s easily transferred through skin-to-skin contact. Sexual activity highly increases the risk of getting ringworm. That’s a fact that Brandi Glanville just discovered. She explained in detail how she thinks she caught a ringworm STD in her throat.
“He would only, you know, my face … because he didn’t want to get me pregnant. He didn’t know that ship had sailed. I’m like, ‘OK, whatever, I’m not going to correct you. Alright, honey.’’ And in my mouth in all that, [then] my girlfriend told me about it yesterday. I knew nothing about it,” she said.
Before she shared the graphic details, she told Lisa Ann that he was “in the industry,” hinting that he was well-known. She didn’t clarify if she meant the porn, movie, or reality TV industry.
Brandi Glanville has been battling a facial parasite for a few years. She finally got answers earlier this year when her breast implant ruptured. She is on the mend after getting the implant removed in February.
