‘Duck Dynasty’ Sadie Robertson’s Infant Daughter Kit Rushed To Hospital
Sadie Robertson recently shared a horrifying situation on social media. Her daughter, Kit, was rushed to the hospital in a recent emergency. During the moment, Sadie shared how various members of her family helped in the moment. Sadie also shared something she hoped fans could learn from the story.
Sadie Robertson Shares Three Children With Husband Christian Huff
Many viewers were first introduced to the Robertson family through the A&E reality series, Duck Dynasty, which originally ran from 2012 to 2017. Last year, viewers saw the premiere of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which explored the lives of Willie and Korie Robertson and their growing family in Louisiana.
Sadie Robertson is Willie and Korie’s daughter, making her the granddaughter of late Duck Commander founder Phil Robertson. Having married Christian Huff in 2019, she shares three children with him.
Recently, Sadie took to Instagram to share a scary situation involving her eight-month-old daughter Kit earlier this week. As she shared in the post, “Kit was sitting in her high chair this week, eating a snack while I was finishing up dinner prep, when she began to choke.”
“Within seconds, you could tell the severity of the situation. My mom pulled her from the high chair and placed my girl into my arms just as she stopped breathing.”
Sadie explained that “everyone went into action.” Her mother called 911 as she herself started CPR. Everyone else began to pray or move the kids downstairs.
Sadie Rode In The Ambulance As Her Daughter Was Taken To The Hospital
Sharing the story, things appeared to improve as the paramedics appeared. At this point, Sadie shared, “Kit miraculously coughed and began to breathe.” She then rode in the ambulance with her daughter, saying she was “still afraid, but praising God.”
Noting that Christian drove behind, Sadie claimed to have seen a rainbow over the ambulance, seemingly taking this as a good sign. She assured that things worked out, noting, “We stayed the night for observation, but she charmed the nurses just a few hours later and is now perfectly healthy, happy, and brightening everyone’s day!”
Accompanying the post was a video of Kit as Sadie rocked her back and forth. The word “Miracle” could be seen captioned above her.
Sadie noted that she shared her story to inspire others who are in similar situations. She explained, “Sharing this as a testimony, and also as an encouragement for everyone to learn what to do in the case of an emergency. It happened SO fast, and I’m so thankful I was able to go straight into action!”
