‘Unexpected’ Mia’s Mother’s Troubled History Revealed
Season 7 of Unexpected introduced viewers to a whole new batch of pregnant teenagers. One of them is Mia Quebedeaux and her boyfriend, Jessie. She lives with her father and has shared that her relationship with her mother is strained. Now, the details of her mother, Nicole’s, troubled past have been revealed. Mia’s Mother Has Had A Rough Road
This season of Unexpected has been a lot for fans to handle. There are Bella and Hunter, who are only 15 and 13, respectively. He was just 12 when he learned that he would be a father, and 10 when they started dating. Additionally, Isabella and Bryce are 18, but he is reluctant to get a job. He has been raised by his grandparents, who appear to enable and coddle him. Amya and Jose are 16, but she had told her mother that she was a lesbian; she never got the proper sex talk. Now, they have a baby boy.
Finally, Mia and Jessie are both 16, and she lives with her dad. She has stated that her relationship with her mother, Nicole, is strained as she was in and out of jail. Now, Nicole’s struggles have been revealed, and they include drugs, driving under the influence, and assault. In her various mugshots, Nicole, who is in her early forties, has different looks. In some, she looks tired and haggard, while in others, she appears smug. As for whether or not viewers will meet her this season, the answer is “yes.”
However, Nicole does pop up in Season 7 of Unexpected and looks quite healthy. Her last notable arrest was in 2024, so hopefully she has gotten herself on track. Yet, Mia has been living with her father and continues to do so up until the present day. She even takes care of herself, as seen in the second episode. Moreover, Mia used her savings to buy everything needed for her own baby shower.

Fans Love Mia’s Dad
Unexpected fans have taken a strong liking to Mia’s father, Keith. The Denham Springs, Louisiana, teen was sharing how she got pregnant. Mia stated that her boyfriend, Jessie, was using protection, but removed it. That was when Keith had a real reaction to this statement, as he could not believe how irresponsible kids could be. However, he was going to love his daughter no matter what. That made viewers respect him as a parent and see that he was the kind of dad everyone needed:
