Terry Bradshaw Makes Michael Strahan Laugh With On-Air Mistake
Terry Bradshaw’s had a longstanding career in sports journalism. However, things took a turn when discussing a game with his co-stars during a recent broadcast. In fact, he even managed to get a laugh from co-host Michael Strahan.
Terry Bradshaw First Joined Fox NFL Sunday Back In 1994
Bradshaw is a former professional quarterback for played with the Pittsburgh Steelers for 14 seasons. Dubbed the “Blonde Bomber,” he managed to win four Super Bowls in a six-year period. He ultimately retired from the game around 1983 following a game against the New York Jets, after undergoing elbow surgery.
Since then, Bradshaw’s career has reached other venues, from actor to even recording artist. In 1994, he took on the roles of co-host and sports analyst for Fox NFL Sunday.

This past Sunday, Bradshaw and his co-hosts were covering the Seattle Seahawks’ 31-27 win over the Los Angeles Rams. During the halftime show, the Fox desk took a turn, discussing the earlier AFC title game. This saw the New England Patriots win over the Denver Broncos, earning a place in the Super Bowl.
The broadcast then cut to a postgame interview with Patriot defensive back Christian Gonzalez, whose late interception helped lead the team to victory. Things then returned to Lumen Field.
Bradshaw Also Made Sure To Have The Last Word During The Discussion
Bradshaw then shared, “You know what? Sam Darnold, they turned him loose in the first half. Klint Kubiak, the offensive coordinator for Seattle, I think he said, ‘Oh, I can trust him with the football today.’ Sam Darnold is playing great football for Seattle.”
However, Bradshaw’s discussion of Darnold proved awkward since his co-stars were still talking about the AFC game. This led to a few seconds of silence before Michael Strahan broke into a laugh.

Things were eventually made clear to Bradshaw. Strahan explained, “Yeah, I mean, he is… We thought we [were] talking about the first game, but it’s okay, because I mean it was a great first game.”
However, Bradshaw still made sure to have the last word. He noted, “And also, no turnovers for Sam Darnold. That’s huge!!”
