During an episode of Jesse Watters Primetime airing January 22nd, the namesake host discussed several breaking news stories. These ranged from the possible acquisition of Greenland and President Donald Trump’s trip to Davos, Switzerland, where he spoke at the World Economic Forum.

During the broadcast, Watters compared former President Joe Biden’s polices with President Trump’s European visit. At one point, Watters claimed that President Trump “never sleeps.”

Comparing Biden with Trump, Watters shared, “I want a boss with flesh and bones, who I don’t need to program and charge his battery, like the man who never sleeps. Trump is landing back in America tonight, after a pretty busy 48 hours in Davos.”

These comments drew ire online, especially as there had been scenes of Trump appearing to sleep during appearances over the years. Back in November, Trump appeared to have slumped in his chair during a live broadcast.

Taking to social media, such as X, many Fox News viewers shared their reactions to Watters’ claim that Trump doesn’t sleep, whether or not it was meant literally. Some even highlighted stories of the president appearing to sleep during meetings.

As one person wrote, “Except all those times he falls asleep on camera.” Another shared, “Only when there is a room filled with people.”

As noted by the outlet, President Trump has previously denied claims that he falls asleep during meetings. At the time, he claimed to be just “resting” his eyes, intently listening, or even blinking.
