Kirsten Storms Wanted To Wish Her Fans ‘Season’s Greetings’ In A Recent Social Media Post

Many were first introduced to Storms as a child actress in various projects for the Disney channel. However, she is arguably best known for her work in soaps.

Starting in 2005, Storms has played Maxie Jones on General Hospital. From 1999 to 2024, she previously played Isabella “Belle” Black on Days of Our Lives.

As the year draws to a close, with the holidays set to start, Storms recently took to social media to share some “Season’s Greetings” for her followers. Taking to Instagram, the actress started her post by commenting on the weather.

The General Hospital star shared, “Although the cold weather has been met with a lot of complaining from me (to anyone around me), I’m kinda LOVING it. And I definitely freaked out at the sight of some *very small* snow flurries…that melted as soon as they touched…anything. Couldn’t get the smile off my face in that moment if I tried.” As she noted, she moved to California after being born in Florida.

As shared by People, Storms revealed in October that she needed surgery for a brain aneurysm, which was discovered at the start of 2025. Reportedly, the aneurysm was discovered after a follow-up scan for a cyst she had removed from her brain in 2021. In her recent post, she shared that she wanted to give fans an update on her “medical situation” after receiving “a lot of social media support.”

Storms continued, “My last appointment was with a new Neurosurgeon in St Louis. He told me that I am in the ‘gray zone’ for the aneurysm procedure. It’s not super small, but it’s not at the mandatory surgery size.”

The Actress Shared A Medical Update & Even Had A Tease For General Hospital Fans

“Basically, I can keep monitoring it – or have the coiling done, BUT he told me I wasn’t in immediate/’OMG! it’s going to burst tomorrow!’ kind of danger. Obvi, great news.”

At this point, the actress admitted that she was weighing her options. She noted she was “trying to see if I’m comfortable with the ‘wait and see if it gets worse’ plan. I do know that I am not eager to hop right on the operating table.” She told fans to look at her 2021 share of her craniotomy photo to explain that her decision won’t be made lightly.

However, despite the situation, Storms expressed her gratitude for all the support she’s received during this time. She explained, “I needed those….and I had no idea (weird how that works, right?). Super easy to be silly and have fun on these platforms, but getting deep about online rumors and my feelings about them?”

Storms finished the post, wishing fans “happy holidays.” She also teased some good news for General Hospital fans, noting that “[maybe] you will be seeing me back in Port Charles soon.”

Fans Also Took To The Comments To Wish Storms A Happy Holiday Season

Both fans and Storms’ co-stars shared their reactions to the post. Finola Hughes, who plays Anna Devane on the soap, wrote, “Happy Holidays, Kirsten. Love and miss you.”

Others continued to share words of support towards the star. Many were also grateful to receive an update during this time.
