The Voice Names Winner, Plans Season 29

Michael Bublé had high hopes of being a three-peat champion coach on The Voice. A contestant from his team won Seasons 26 and 27. He had two contestants in the Season 28 finale, doubling his chances of a win. However, Jazz McKenzie finished in 6th place and Max Chambers finished in 5th place.

Michael Bublé Has Viewers Worried About His Health

The Season 28 season finale was a star-studded spectacle. Noah Cyrus, Zac Brown, and Riley Green were among the performers. Three of the four coaches took the stage to perform the opening number, and again with the contestants from their respective teams.

However, Niall Horan was unable to perform after his doctor put him on vocal rest. He’s been feeling under the weather for the last few weeks, and now fans are worried about Michael Bublé’s health, too.

Along with Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg, the three coaches took the stage to perform a medley of Journey hit songs. But viewers at home felt something was ‘off’ with Michael Bublé. They took to social media to share their concern.

  • “Is something going on with Michael? He just seemed off these past two episodes.
  • “He seemed kind of sad and quiet the past two episodes and wasn’t joking around with people.“
  • “Was surprised that Michael seemed to struggle a bit with Journey.”
  • “Michael didn’t just sound off, he was acting a little off too”
  • “He’s not normally like this to this extent… He could be sick too”
  • “Was Buble’s tongue swollen? He was really off,”
  • “Buble sounded kinda strange on his riff”

However, the singer also took the stage with Max Chambers for a rousing performance of “Blue Christmas” that fans absolutely loved. “Max and Michael Buble sound amazing together and this is a beautiful performance,” one viewer gushed over the performance.

Hints He’s Leaving Show

Michael Bublé sparked speculation that he’s leaving The Voice when he made an off-handed comment during the first part of the season finale. The coach got emotional while praising Jazz McKenzie.

“This is my last time here. I leave this show, and let me tell you, Jazz McKenzie, what a way to go. You are perfect,” he told the aspiring singer from Huntsville, Alabama. Many viewers took that to mean that he won’t return for future seasons. Season 29 of The Voice premieres in February with coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend.

Tell us in the comments if you think Michael Bublé looked or sounded “off” during the Season 28 finale.

  1. His son is sick and I’m sure that weighs heavy especially during the holidays! They already announced judges for the next show and no Michael
