Katie Couric Touched On ‘Another Horrific Story’ In A Recent Instagram Post

Couric is a journalist with a career spanning decades, first starting in 1979. She has been a television host for various networks.

This includes CNN, NBC News, CBS News, and ABC News. Many especially know Couric as a co-host on Today, a CBS Evening News anchor, and a 60 Minutes correspondent.

Recently, Couric took to social media to weigh in on a recent tragedy: the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele. As previously reported, both Rob and Michele were reported to have endured stab wounds at the scene.

Couric Also Shared That An Arrest Had Been Made In The Case, & It Involved Someone Close To The Reiners

As Couric noted in an Instagram post, “My God, another horrific story.” She continued, sharing that, “Rob Reiner, the extraordinary director and political activist and just all around great human, along with his wife Michele, murdered in their home in Brentwood, California.”

The journalist also shared a shocking update in the case concerning Reiner’s family. As she wrote, “The couple’s son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested and is now in custody, according to online jail records. He is being held on $4 million bail.” Concluding the post, Couric wrote, “The world is feeling very dark right now.”

Various outlets have also reported on Nick Reiner’s arrest. According to NBC News, the news was confirmed by “two law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation.” It was said to be unknown at this time if he had any legal representation.
