Sunny Hostin Clashes With GH Star On The View
The hosts of The View welcomed ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith to the roundtable on Thursday, December 4. In addition to his sports job, he has a recurring role on GH as Brick, a tech expert employed by mobster Sonny Corinthos. Stephen A. Smith also has a SiriusXM show where he talks about current events unrelated to sports.
In a riveting segment, the hosts of The View took Stephen A. Smith to task for some of his political opinions he shared on his radio show. Sunny Hostin asked him if he wanted to walk back his comments about Senator Mark Kelly. The Senator from Arizona was among the Democrats who publicly reminded members of the military that they didn’t have to follow unlawful orders from President Trump or their superiors.
The video addressed to the military was met with massive backlash from the Trump administration. But now Congress is investigating whether Secretary of War Pete Hegseth gave an illegal order to kill survivors of an attack on a boat of Venezuelans accused of drug trafficking. The Secretary of War denies any wrongdoing, a claim backed up this week with testimony from Admiral Bradley.

But the debate over the military’s official policy regarding unlawful orders continues. The View host Sunny Hostin didn’t waste time calling Stephen A. Smith out for his “loud and wrong” opinion that Mark Kelly was incorrect.
