HGTV’s Jenny Marrs In Tears Over Devastating Death
HGTV star Jenny Marrs was left in tears over recent devastating deaths in her family. The Fixer to Fabulous renovator shared a stark reminder for fans. Keep reading to find out what’s going on in her life right now.
Jenny Marrs Opens Up About Faith Helping Through Hard Times
Jenny and Dave Marrs renovate historic homes in Bentonville, Arkansas, on their HGTV show, Fixer to Fabulous. Season 7 of the popular renovation show premieres on Tuesday, December 2. Sadly, the Marrs family has had several tragic deaths in the family off-screen.

Jenny Marrs released a book in October about her strong faith in God. In Trust God, Love People: Stories of My Openhanded Faith, the HGTV star shares lessons that she’s learned in life. During an interview with Country Living, she shared how her faith helps her through difficult times.
“Even if you’re not in a hard season right now, those seasons are still going to come. That’s just the reality of life. There’s joy and sorrow, often at the same time. But if you can create this act of remembering not just happy times, but the faithfulness of God that you’ve seen in your life, then when you’re in those harder, darker moments, you can look back and say, “I’ve been here before, and God proved faithful,” she said.
Jenny Marrs and her family are definitely leaning on God as they go through a hard season in life.
HGTV Star In Tears Over Devastating Death
Jenny Marrs lost her grandmother in early November. She found some comfort in knowing that her grandparents were now reunited in Heaven. The loss of her family member came two months after her husband, Dave Marrs, lost his mother.

The Fixer to Fabulous star’s mom, Donna, passed away in September after a battle with dementia. The loss is still fresh. In a vulnerable social media post, Jenny Marrs opened up about missing her late mother-in-law.
“This morning, I was sorting the calendar for the week and picked up my phone to call Dave’s mom. The boys have games tonight and Sylvie plays tomorrow. She never missed a game. She was always cheering from the stands and high-fiving the other families and saying a little too loudly that “those Marrs boys are the best on the team” and “Sylvie is the best player out there”. Dave and I would quietly apologize to the other player’s parents sitting next to us as we all chuckled at her zeal and love for her grandkids,” she wrote.

The post continued, “Since I can’t call her, instead, I found myself listening to a bunch of my saved voicemails from her with tears streaming. What I wouldn’t give to call her up and hear her “couple of questions”
Jenny Marrs encouraged her followers to “call your people” before it’s too late. “If you haven’t spoken to your mom or your grandma or your aunt or your best friend five states away because you’ve been too busy and texts are quicker and easier… pick up the phone this morning and make the call. It matters,” she added.
“I love this Babe. I’d give anything to talk to her again,” her husband, Dave, wrote in the comments. Many of her followers shared about their losses and the family member they wish they could call again.
Like Jenny Marrs said, call your family while you still can.
