Why Aren’t New Episodes Of On Patrol: Live Airing This Weekend?
In early September 2025, On Patrol: Live went on a two-week hiatus. Initially, it was because of the Labor Day holiday, and then the hosts headed to CrimeCon. Viewers were shocked that there were reruns once again, given that the show was off for July 4th. It has also been very shaky with the panel, as Curtis Wilson has not been around as much. Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin has been filling in, but at the same time, Dan Abrams took time off and was replaced by Ashleigh Banfield. These changes have been hard for everyone, and now, ahead of Halloween, the show is airing repeats.
This has left fans wondering why this is happening, given that the show just celebrated 300 episodes. Dan Abrams headed to the field with Richie Maher. It was a special event that was announced during the 300 weekend, along with special merchandise. However, for the weekend of the 25th, it will be a series of the show’s best moments. As of now, there is no reason given for the reruns, but it is clear that viewers will miss watching new episodes. They are also well aware that, since Halloween falls on a Friday, those episodes will be over the top.

So, for those who will be missing the hit live cop show, never fear, as On Patrol: Live is only away for one weekend. Then, it will be back with an epic and exciting weekend of costumed debauchery.
It Will Be Missed
On Patrol: Live fans love going around America, especially to Hazen, Arkansas, for the excitement of cop life. Therefore, not having new shows this weekend is a struggle. Moreover, viewers have found a community via social media of fellow fans who appreciate the series. After learning that Friday and Saturday were repeats, there was frustration and confusion:
- Last week Dan said he would be back in the studio this week……I wonder what changed.
- Are you insinuating rerun this weekend
- Reruns again?
As aforementioned, it is just for one week, and then the hit series will be back with new episodes. It is unclear when the next hiatus will be, but it will likely be around Thanksgiving.

I had no idea that this weekend was reruns. I much prefer it when they announce it and let you know what dates are going to be reruns and then you can plan accordingly.
This surprise is not fair!!!
They never let us know when they’re not gonna be on live. You show up to watch it and it’s not there. If they know a week ahead of time they should tell us. Since we are hooked on the show, they should let us know that it’s not gonna be on.
I agree with Jim.I look forward to watching this every week just to find its not on and have no idea why. Please keep this show I just LOVE IT.

Not more reruns! Last week on 10-18-25 On Patrol Live said in the closing seconds that On Patrol Live would be back which had all the indications of a new show, not reruns. So why the reruns on the 24th and 25th???? Are we to assume that because Halloween is on 10-31-25 that again there will be NO new show but simply reruns? The reruns are so boring. We have never seen a TV show with so many reruns. PLEASE end the reruns.

i hope the other networks are paying attntion and put some competative programming out. OPL is the definition of boring 90% of the time.
I don’t know of another popular weekly show that is this disrespectful to it’s fans ! Don’t be surprised fellows if you get less and less of a fan base as this continues.

I found new Oct shows on Peacock!! Are you serious?! So now we have to pay to watch OPLive? Not airing on REELZ anymore!?
Since I don’t have cable, I watch OPL on Peacock usually after the shows have been live on Reelz. On Sunday and Monday. Peacock is still on last weekends show, when Dan went to Daytona Beach. On the show from last Saturday, nothing was mentioned about not having live shows this weekend. Definite bummer.
