Pregnant Woman’s BF Films Her Being Shot, Brother Jumps In
A pregnant woman from Barron, Wisconsin, was shot in the stomach while her boyfriend filmed the whole incident. He was making a video for the popular social media forum, Snapchat, and it led to her brother intervening. So, how and why did this occur, and is she okay? Pregnant Woman’s BF Films Her Being Shot
Pregnancy is supposed to be a beautiful time for all parties involved. Unfortunately, life can take some unexpected twists and turns, such is the case in Barron, Wisconsin. Seventeen-year-old Makayla Sadowski was seven months pregnant when she was shot in the stomach on October 1st, 2025. The culprit was her boyfriend, Marcus Hinojosa, also seventeen. Allegedly, Marcus was filming for Snapchat when he shot his pregnant girlfriend, and requests have gone out to remove the footage. Makayla had gone to an apartment with her family, who were waiting for her outside.
She is also a mother to a two-year-old. After she went inside, Makayla’s family was seemingly worried about her, so her brother, Tyler, 20, went in to check on her. Makayla had been shot by Marcus, and Tyler was ultimately shot and killed while trying to take care of his sister. Her wounds were to her stomach, but luckily, she survived, as did her baby. The baby arrived early but seems to be in a good state. Her other child is staying with family while she recovers from this horrid crime.
Snapchat has been working to get the video taken down wherever they see it. As for Makayla’s boyfriend, he ultimately shot himself and died. Tyler is being touted as a hero amid his lifesaving efforts when it came to Makayla. Sadly, he lost his life protecting hers, and now there is a GoFundMe set up to help the Wisconsin family. The goal is $20K and they have already made nearly $14K, with the service set for the end of December 2025. As of now, no motive is known.
A Horrible Tragedy
Those who are following this story were blown away by the tragedy. They could not believe something like this would and could happen:

Some slammed Makayla for already having a toddler and being pregnant, but that is not the point of all of this. This is a tragedy that never should have happened, and the culprit is no longer alive. Therefore, getting a motive may be impossible. Two people are deceased, and families are broken.
