A Salt Lake City, Utah woman has been arrested. She set a fire as she felt like she was being “attacked by demons”. This is a crazy story that people cannot believe happened. However, the woman is now behind bars as she set this fire on purpose. Thankfully, everyone seems to be okay. However, there is a lot to unfold and uncover when it comes to this situation. Salt Lake City Woman Sets Bedroom On Fire

A woman in Salt Lake City, Utah, set a bed on fire in her home. On September 24, the Salt Lake City Fire Department went to a fire on the second floor of a residential address. When they got there, the door to the room was barricaded. They were finally able to get into the room where 36-year-old Ashley Martinez was. She was standing there while the bed was on fire. However, they were able to put the fire out with an on-site fire extinguisher. This was scary for them to see. However, no one got hurt, and they were able to get it out quickly.

She Is Now Behind Bars, Was Not Mentally Stable

Ashley Martinez was not mentally stable at the time. Once the opened the room, she left but was found in the yard later. It has been shown that she was suffering a mental health crisis from a pre-existing condition that she was not taking her medications for. The police say that Ashley told them she “felt like she was being attacked by demons,” So this is all she could do to stop them. Ashley was arrested and is now behind bars. She is in jail for a single charge of aggravated arson, a first-degree felony. People are just glad that she made it out okay, and it was put out before anyone got hurt.

It seems as though the woman was having a mental health crisis. She thought she was being attacked by demons. This was the only way in her head to get them to stop. However, she thought she had put the fire out when she had not. She is now behind bars for arson, as it is a felony. However, people feel bad for her as she was not right mentally when she did it.
