Fox News Host Begs Trump To Bring In Troops To NYC Streets

There are very few news stations and journalists that President Donald Trump trusts or listens to. However, he does have an affinity for Fox News and loves the support they have shown him. The anchors have made mistakes in their reporting, but overall, he is a fan. Now, one of the most popular hosts has asked President Trump to bring in the National Guard to New York City. He has already done this in Washington, D.C., which was met with mixed responses. So, which host is demanding action be taken and why?

Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt is asking the president to take action when it comes to cleaning up the streets of New York. She has been on the network for several years and is engaged to Sean Hannity. Ainsley is now using her platform to make a plea, as she knows bringing troops to D.C. was less than desirable. Regardless, she thinks that they can be useful in NYC, where she is based, and would love to deploy their help:

“Fine, you don’t want ’em? Send ’em to New York, please. Please, Donald Trump, send ’em here. Clean up these streets. I welcome it.”

At this point, President Trump is looking for other cities to place troops, including Chicago. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has been very vocal about this, stating that they do not want the military there. He added that there is no threat warranting them heading to the windy city.

That is why Ainsley Earhardt is using her voice at Fox News to share where the troops could be most useful. Furthermore, she believes cities have benefited from this, so she is waiting for New York’s turn.

Will Trump Listen?

At this point, it is unclear if President Trump will listen to what Ainsley Earhardt has to say. As aforementioned, he does seem to like Fox News, but is that enough? Those who live in Chicago seem desperate to have someone come in and clean up their city. They shared how much crime there is and how it is an endless battle. The same could be said for New York City, but for now, it may be a slow process. Viewers do seem to love Ainsley and respect what she has to say, so this could be a major turning point if she gets enough followers.

Do you agree with the Fox News host that New York City needs a lot of help? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
