Arizona Teen Runs Over Brother Amid ‘Road Rage’ Episode
It has been noted that drivers are getting way worse over the last few years. They are angry and rude, which is scary for new drivers and even those who are proficient in being on the road. Unfortunately, road rage is a very real thing, and an Arizona teenager just had a bad episode of it. This allegedly led him to run over his younger brother in a fit of anger. On September 13th, Juan Figueroa, 19, ran over Javier, 17, in a Starbucks parking lot, but what was the reason? More so, is there any good reason for striking someone with the car?
As it turned out, Juan claimed that he was trying to hit another man who was attacking his brother. Therefore, he was never aiming for Javier but rather an assailant. So far, Juan is being charged with first-degree murder, plus attempted murder. His bond is $500, and no additional court dates have been announced, so it seems he will be locked up for some time. Per the authorities, there was a battle between three males. This culminated in Javier getting hit by the car. He passed away from the incident, but the alleged assailant had another side of the story.
The thirty-six-year-old Arizona male is claiming that Juan and Javier tried to attack him with a knife during a fight. However, their father, Joseph, is maintaining that his boys were under a threat and that is why Juan went to such extremes. He was hoping that they could get to safety, but that did not happen. Joseph added this:
“I’m trying to bury one son and bail the other one. I need to know the truth, so I can help him.”

Joseph Figueroa is determined to get to the bottom of this tragedy simply so he can put all of the pieces together. Moreover, he feels that there is much more than what is known as of now and wants every detail. He understands that his eldest son is struggling with what happened. So, he wants to make it easier for Javier to get through the nightmare. Currently, the Arizona family has set up a GoFundMe with the goal of $11K. So far, they have raised a little over $1K with twenty-seven donations. Followers of the story feel that there is likely footage at the Starbucks where the incident happened. Therefore, that should help with answers and charges.
