Canadian Man Driving Pink Barbie Jeep Gets Pulled Over For DUI
A Canadian man was just pulled over for a DUI while driving a pink Barbie Jeep. He was a full-grown man in a child’s automobile, so that was the first mistake. So, how did the cops handle this odd situation, and how intoxicated was he? Keep reading for more details.
Canadian Man Gets DUI In Barbie Jeep
Kids love driving around in their little cars. They have a wide variety to mimic whatever their parents are cruising around in. Yet, one of the most popular has long been the pink Barbie Jeep, and all of the little girls have loved it. Getting this car is like a rite of passage, but what happens when an adult gets the bright idea to ride around in this tiny automobile? Furthermore, what happens when they drink and drive? British Columbia’s very own Kasper Lincoln was riding in a pink Barbie Jeep, which only goes around 5 miles per hour.
He was then pulled over, and not only was his license suspended, but he was found to be intoxicated. The police released a statement on why they pulled him over. It was not just that he was driving a child’s toy, but he was a danger to himself and those around him:
“While it might seem to some to be an inefficient use of police time to pull over a driver in a toy car, the risk the driver was creating to other motorists on the road who were forced to go around him, coupled with the risk to himself as other drivers are not in the habit of looking for toy cars on the busy road, was enough to warrant police attention.”
Then, Kasper was drunk, but where was he going? As it turns out, he took the Barbie Jeep to get a Slurpee. It was not his, but rather his roommate’s daughter’s car.
A New Adventure
Additionally, Kasper Lincoln had never driven the Barbie Jeep, or so he claimed. Allegedly, he warned everyone who saw this not to drink and drive. After many saw the story, they could not help but laugh at how silly it was. He not only wanted a drunken Slurpee but also took a child’s car on the road. Some were shocked that he needed a license to operate a vehicle that goes so slowly:
- So you have to have a license? What bout the kid?
- You can’t make this up !
- Car weighs 50 pounds and top speed of 6 mph. Guy needs rehab and community service. Drop the DUI.
As of now, it is unclear what will happen to Kasper and what he will face in the long run. Despite the trouble, followers are loving this story and cannot help but chuckle.
