Lawson Bates' Heads To Erin's Side Amid Health Scare

The Bates family recently called out to fans for prayers as Erin recently endured complications following the birth of her seventh child, Henry. Since then, the family has shown their support in various ways. Recently, her brother Lawson has shared that he would be making a trip to see his sister during this time.

The Family Recently Called On Fans To Pray For Erin

Viewers were introduced to the Bates family through various television shows, including United Bates of America and Bringing Up Bates. Through these shows, fans followed the story of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their nineteen children.

Erin Bates and her husband Chad Paine recently had big news to share with fans: they just welcomed their seventh child, Henry, on August 27, 2025. However, the news came with a call to fans for prayers, as Erin had endured various health issues following the pregnancy.

As previously reported, the family kept fans updated throughout the situation, revealing that Erin had to spend time in the ICU and at one point underwent a severe seizure. However, in a recent post, Chad and Erin assured fans that things were taking a positive turn.

In a post on Instagram, it was shared, “With tears in our eyes, we are praising the Lord that we are on the road to recovery. Your prayers have definitely touched heaven,” thanking fans for their support.

Since this news has come out, one member of the Bates family in particular has shared their support for Erin during this time. Her brother Lawson recently announced plans to see her.

Taking to Facebook, Lawson, who is based in Tennessee, wrote, “Caught the red-eye to Florida. Please say a prayer for my sister Erin!”

Fans On Social Media Noted That Lawson & Erin Have Shown They Were Close Over The Years

This means Lawson was taking a late-night flight to the state to see his sister. In an accompanying photo, Lawson could be seen boarding a plane while holding his son, William.

Taking to social media, many fans shared kind words towards Lawson as he was supporting his sister. A few also noted how he is known for supporting his siblings, especially Erin.

There was also some speculation that Lawson had to wait until things settled before he could visit her, meaning good things for Erin’s recovery. Some comments included:
