‘Bachelorette’ DeAnna Pappas Breaks Silence On Shocking Arrest
DeAnna Pappas was a favorite of Bachelor Nation fans. Viewers were heartbroken along with her when Brad Womack shockingly sent her home on The Bachelor. She later returned as the lead for Season 4 of The Bachelorette. Her engagement to Jesse Csincsak ended a few months after the season finale.
She went onto fall in love and later marry Stephen Stagliano, the twin brother of Michael Stagliano, who was on Jillian Harris’s season of The Bachelorette. Sadly, DeAnna filed for divorced in 2023. The divorce was finalized a year later after they agreed on a shocking stipulation that neither would consume drugs or alcohol during their time with their two kids.
The Bachelorette star was arrested in February for domestic violence against her ex-husband. She finally opened up about the harrowing time, including what it was like in jail.
The Latest On Their Recent Custody Battle
Following his ex-wife’s arrest, Stephen Stagliano sought to change their custody agreement. He asked the courts to lower his child support payments because he was temporarily unemployed. He also asked for mandated testing amid his allegation that DeAnna Pappas was an alcoholic.

DeAnna Pappas told the courts that her ex wasn’t allowing her to see the kids and she wanted her visitation restored. The judge agreed and ordered her ex to let her see the kids. The matter seems to be settled, at least for now.

“I would 100 percent say that the last four or five months of my life have been the most embarrassing, the scariest, shameful, guilt-ridden, angry,” the Bachelorette star admitted.
She added that she has a lot of “bitterness” and “resentment” toward her ex-husband.
